Oh! Christmas Tree! Oh! Christmas Tree!

Look how pretty our cute little Christmas Tree is!

MPT's Christmas Party!

This year for MPT's Christmas Party, we had it at Patton's, the Salmon Fritche House in Slidell! It was a beautiful house! The party was wonderful. The food was great, everyone looked great, and it was just awesome. The day started out by Sara, Sarah, and I getting our nails, toes, and hair done. Then we went to Sarah's house to get dressed. We had a fun girl day. Anyways, I have to get to work, but I just wanted to post some pics of the party!

Merry Christmas and Bowling!

Merry Christmas everybody! I know that this year Christmas is going to suck for many people, but our family, although homeless, decided to make the best of it! We rented a 3 story cabin in Gatlinburg,TN. Raymond can't wait to snow ski, neither can I. I hope that no one breaks their legs! Or end up like Sunny Bono! I think that is how you spell it.
Another thing Raymond and I are up to is bowling! We have so much fun at the bowling alley! For his birthday, I through him a semi-suprise party! It was so fun! I found this really cool cake on the internet and got a bakery to make it. It was a cake shaped like a cheeseburger...(His fav!) I will try to post pictures tom. He turned 23! I love that man! Anyways, I think that is about it!

Liven the Camper Life, Christmas Party, and Thanksgiving!

Wow... what more can I say. Living in a camper is so much fun! I love having to walk to the bathhouse to take a shower. I also love worrying that the sewage tank is going to overflow! But, I will not whine, no I won't!

Christmas Party!!!! This year, MPT decided to have a Christmas Party Committee. The committe consist of Liz, Sara, Sarah, Barry, Scott C., Sherry, Tim, and myself. I think that we have way to many people in the committee. It is really hard to make decisions and to please everyone. I think that we narrowed it down to having the party either at Patton's or Quail Farm in Abita Springs. Both are really nice. Sara and I went to Patton's today. We love it there. Barry suggested the Quail Farm. I went there for Northshore Prom once. It was beautiful too. The biggest issue is price. We are also trying to decide what gift we are going to give out. There were some cool ideas.. (mine the best of coarse...j/k). I think that we have narrowed it down to Jacket, Blanket, Gift Certificate, or MP3 Player.

Anyways, Thanksgiving....All I have to say is...where are we going to have Thanksgiving!

Amy's Ho-Down B-Day Party

Amy's Ho-Down
Todd and Amy's Dad decided to build a Cajun Microwave and roast a 60lb whole pig! It was the scariest (but tastiest) Pig. Poor Frances had to pick up the pig in Hattiesburg. When the dude brought her "Champ", he had the pig around his neck!!! GROSS! Anyways, you might be asking, "What is a cajun microwave?". It is a huge wooden box lined with heavy aluminum foil. You put your food of choice in the box, then put the lid on it. On top of the lid, you build a fire. And Wah-lah... You have a roasted pig! They also roasted tons of vegatables. After a while, Amy and I carved some pumpkins. That was so fun and sort of sticky! She also had the boat in the pond. There were even horses running in the field next to us! It was a good ole fashion ho down! He! he!

What's New

It has been a while since I have posted so I am just going to review what is going on in my life!

FEMA Trailor
We got a FEMA camper and I couldn't be any happier. It is 32' x 8'. I am so happy to have some place to live! We are currently staying at McCleoud Park. McCleoud park looks pretty rough.

MPT
Work is going good... but... slow. I can't wait till we can get back into the groove of things!

Raymond
I still love him more than anything in the world. He is such a sweetheart.

Hair Styling
I colored Amy's and Frances's hair. Frances's turned out great and Amy's color wasn't exactly perfect, so the next day we did it again. It now looks great. Tomorrow I am coloring Katie's and Sarah's hair, and this weekend I am coloring my mom's hair. I love doing hair!

Well I think that is about it in my life... that sucks! Well, there has been one thing I have been doing fun, hanging out with Amy. We have been having a great time together! Ok, now that is about it!

MPT will rise again!

This week MPT asked that all there employees come to work. I really didn't know what to expect. IT IS LIKE HELL! Because, It is really hot and nasty. You can ask anyone there. But on a good note, we are all pulling together to get MPT running again ASAP. We are literally gutting the wet building apart! Everyone, and I mean everyone, is working hard. It is really depressing though. I love MPT and I feel so bad that it is this damaged. It will be ok though. We will have it back and running in no time! I am just happy that I have a job!

David & Michelle De Starkey

David and Michelle got MARRIED!

I can't believe it. I am so happy for them both. They eloped in Gulfshores, AL. He bought her a BEAUTIFUL ring. It is really simular to mine, just on steriods! It is a one carat platinum diamond ring with about 3 diamonds on both sides. If I had my camera I would post pictures. I will try to later on, I never did put pictures of out updates on our house. I wish I did now though. Oh, well.

O' What a Night

On Tuesday, August 30, we decided to go home to survey the damage done by Hurricane Katrina. Before we left Florida, we bought two generators, 40 gallons of gas, and tons of food. We expected to come home and be without power for a while so we stocked up for three families (David & Michelle (another blog), Mom, Dad, Daniel, and Lexie, and Raymond and Me) We weren't trying to be greedy. We made it Bay St. Louis around 1:30a.m. Bay St. Louis was a wreck. Raymond's mom's trailers were completely moved by either the wind or water. The cars that were parked on the side of highway 90 were tossed all around. We found Raymond's mom's car. It looked like it hadn't even been touched... except for the 25ft of water above it! We were all really anxious to get to Pearlington to see our homes. We swerved trees, power lines, and debris on the way there but we finally made it. First we tried to get to my Aunt Didi's house. It was blocked by too many trees and power lines. So we turned around and started to Raymond and My house. From a distance it didn't look too bad, but to our dismay, It was totally trashed. A column from the house flew off and hit the garage causing the garage door to break. The inside was disgusting. I only looked for a minute because we were standing in nasty mud up to our ankles and the structure of the house didn't look to good. Raymond walked to our master door to see if he could save anything, but the door wouldn't open. My new furniture was on a different side of the house, upside down. We worked so hard on our house to make it what it as beautiful as it was. We bought the house in January and worked on it for months in the heat to make it what I always wanted. It freaking sucks. Now we have nothing. It isn't like we had tons of money to buy the house in the first place. Raymond worked so hard. So did my entire family, shoot, Daniel even worked on it with a collapsed lung! (had to laugh at that one!) Ok, that is enough. I later found out that my Beetle had been (of course) destroyed. Then, we looked to see if my neighbors had left. Both of their cars were there and I hadn't seen them packing when we left. We were really worried. My dad knocked and try to kick the door in, but he couldn't. He told me that they probably left with her parents. I hope so. Then we tried to drive to my mom's house. We got halfway there and a church and trailer blocked out way. We parked and got out the car. We heard someone yell, "Hey!". We thought that he was hurt, so we searched for him for about 2 hours. My mom and I couldn't stop crying. We couldn't just leave someone hurt. Nobody wanted Michelle or I to go and search, but I told them that we were grown women and it would be a sin if we didn't try to help. We searched together for a while. It was so scary. This dog started growling at us so I picked up a huge stick. I later realized that it was a really long broom from the catholic church (the church that was now in the middle of the road). I have to say that it was a really horrible day. We never did find the man. He only yelled twice. So around 4:30 we stated toward Raymond's sister's house to stay. We got to her road around 6:30. He driveway was blocked by two huge trees. We would have chainsawed it down, but everyone was physically and mentally drowned. We just slept in the cars. We woke up around 8:30. We wished David a happy birthday. I guess He had the crappiest birthday ever! Well, I think that is about all I can type about right now. Sorry this is so grammatically incorrect.

My Buddy Sara

My BFF Sara...
I can go on and on about Sara. We met on my first day of school in the 10th grade. We became best friends instantly! We have been through everything you can think of together... prom, first kiss, dates, and broken hearts! In highschool we were inseparable, so we decided to go to college together. We played way to much. We also have another friends, Schenel, who is also close to my heart. I will do a blog on her later. We (Sara, Schenel, and I) did the whole college thing together. Let's just say it was quite an experience. Then, Sara was my maid of honor in my wedding. She was also Schenel's maid of honor... I hope I become someone's maid of honor! Anyways... After we went to college a couple of years, Sara and Schenel decide to move to Mobile, AL. It was so depressing. Then after a while, Schenel moved back...YEA! And now we will be back together again because Sara is moving back home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The three crazy amigos! I think that is about it! Girls, I love you with all of my heart and truely apreciate you both!

Great Weekend

This weekend was soo much fun! My BFF, Sara, came down from Alabama, My mom and I did a "While you were out", we had our first bar-be-que in our new house, and Raymond surprised me!

The Surprise from Rammie!
As you know, Raymond and I have been working on our house for like forever. Well, when I came home from work Friday, Raymond had my brand new couches set up! It was a great surprise! The couches matches out decor perfectly. I would post pictures of it, but I left my camera in my friend Sara's car.

While you were out
Then Saturday, My mom and I did a while you were out for Raymond. Mom and I worked our butt's off renovating the guest bathroom. It turned out great. The photos I took didn't give it justice. First we painted the walls mistletoe green. (It is a minty light green) Then, we painted the cabinets white. After that we scrubbed the floor. We put the final touches of decoration and waa-laa... It was finished. I love it. This weekend we are going to do the master bathroom. We are going with white, silver, and dark blue. I hope it turns out as good as the other bathroom did.

First Party
After all the hardwork, Mom and I took a shower and got dressed for Wal-mart. We had to pick up some things for the Bar-be-que I was having that night. The party turned out great. This is who attended: Daniel and his new girlfriend...(that's another story), David and his Girlfriend Mitchell....(We love her), Andrew and my BFF Sara...(They are a item now I hear), my mom, and my adorable niece. It was small, but that is the way I wanted it. The reason for the bar-be-que was for Sara's visit. Seeing Sara again was awesome. We convinced Sara that she needs to move back down. And guess what, SHE IS! That is...if...we find her a job and apartment.

Skydiving
Another interesting thing that happened this weekend is David and Mitchell went skydiving. We watched the video and it looks like such a rush! I want to do it so bad. David gave it to Michelle for a birthday present. Great Gift.

Anyways, I think that is about it. I will write more when I remember it!

The next step from here it to really practice hard on some cuts, color, and styles. I will then take the second part of State Board later this month. If I pass I will be a official hair stylist! So wish me luck!

Hair!

Today I went to Frances's house to cut her hair. We cut it all off! She looks so hot with her new sassy cut! I love doing hair. My schedule is loaded down with hair. Thursday I am coloring Sarah's hair and Leslie's. I am also cutting Leslie's little girl's hair. This time I am going to take a before and after to put on the site. I think I should do that for now on...right Jen...hehe! But anyways, I also have to do some highlights on Katie's lil sister. Then next week, I am going to color Frances's hair. Well, enough about hair!
Oh, the picture is a style I really love!

Jesse McCartney

Last last Friday, I won Jesse McCartney tickets on B97. Then, I won a private studio concert with him for being a "freeloader". So Tuesday, Katie and I went to the private studio concert. He actually sounded really good. Above is a picture we took with him. We then scalped the concert tickets for quite a bit moola!! Now, if we would have won tickets like that to see Josh Groban, it would have been on! The day was tons of fun! After we scalped the tickets, we decided to go out to eat. Then, in the restaurant, we took modeling pictures of each other. It was sooo funny.

Tubing the Hooch

At the end of July, My husband and I, my family, and friends went to Helen, GA. to tube the hooch! It was soo much fun! If you are ever near by, you should stop by this Dutch town. We rented this beautiful three story cabin on the side of the mountain. It was very scenic. In the picture above Raymond, Daniel (my brother), and Andrew ( our friend) are talking about how fun it is going to be tubing this raging river! Besides tubing, we went shopping, goofy golfing, and go cart racing. I wish I was there now instead of being behind a desk!

Weekend Bliss

This weekend was buckets of fun! I shopped till I dropped! Friday, Tim and Sissy came over to help out on the house. Sissy and I talked about weddings and looked at pictures. She is so sweet, I can tell that we are going to be good friends. After all the hard work, we have rootbeer floats. The house is really coming together! I am going to post pictures soon. Then, after they left, Raymond and I went to Slidell to eat. It was only McDonald's, but it was fun just being together. Saturday, Raymond did the usual, and I slept in till 9:30. Then, My mom called and asked if I wanted to go eat breakfast then shop. So we ate at Crackel Barrel, then went to the mall. For my birthday, my mom bought me the cutest rugs for my house. After an exhausting day of shopping, Raymond and I went to eat Lonestar. It was gross! We just wanted to get out of there! Then we played video games all night! Sunday, we did the usual. Church, eat at Chili's, then Church. After night church, Raymonds family came over. It was like my first party in my new house. All I had to feed them was popcorn though! (hehe) I cut the girls hair, then my sister-in-law. They all turned out beautifully! Well that concludes my weekend!

New Jenna

My sister-in-law just had another little one! She is so cute! Her name is Jenna Lanye Garriga. I wish I had a baby! :(! But that is another blog!

Josh Groban

I told you that I was going to talk about Josh Groban. This guy can really sing. He is only like 21, and already he has an amazing voice. Go to www.joshgroban.com to hear some clips of his music. My mom and I went to see him in Feb 05' all the way in Tennesee. It was so much fun though! We shopped so much and acted crazy! I was conviced that I would get to meet him, so I am running around the Grand Ole Oprah looking for him. After the concert, I told my mom that I was going to go up to the stage and give him a rose, she said, "I dare you to do it!". So I ran up to the stage and gave him the rose! He shook my hand and thanked me! It was wonderful!

Katie

My really good friend Katie is going to a college in FL in just a few weeks. I am so happy for her, but sad at the same time. She is such a great friend and I am going to miss her so much. Everybody is leaving! First Jen, then Roy, now Katie! MPT is taking a hit! Katie if you are reading this, I am going to miss you! BUT, I know you are going to have so much fun! The picture is of Katie and I at the Josh Groban concert...(now that is another topic I need to blog about!)

Our Wedding Day

My First Blog

This is my first blog, so you have to be gentle on me! First, I will just say a little about me. My name is Tegan Pucheu and I am married to man of my dreams (Raymond). We only have one baby... our cat, Peaches. My life revolves around work, church, and Raymond. I have lived here in Mississippi my entire life. I just finished Cosmetology school, even though I will probably stay at the job I have now as a marketing assistant. Well, I think that I rambled enough! Bye!
